Name: Godzilla vs. Gigan II Original Year: 2004-2005 Redone: Spring 2011 Type: Fan Fiction
Original Storyline: (Note: all references to Godzilla characters, battles, and movies are 100% accurate. Get ready for some real nerd stuff...)
After the foiled attempt to colonize Earth and aid in the mission of the Seatopian genocide of the humans by Godzilla, earth's protector, the sinister insect-like aliens of Nebula M Spacehunter decide the battle is not over yet. With the near extinction of it's people and the decaying planet, they decide to construct a new Gigan: a powerful organic-mechanical hybrid equipped for the destruction of earth's inhabitants, and Godzilla, as well.
Why?
Since birth, I have been a major Godzilla fan. My grandparents got me into it, as far as I can remember (they also got me into the Nintendo 64 and Gameboy, seeing as though they were awesome enough to have both those things even before my brother and I did). I have always had a major love for Godzilla, and one of my favorite villains of all time (laugh if you'd like) would be Gigan. I don't know why. I have always had a taste in strange, weird, and especially cheesy things. It would only be a dream to create my own published Godzilla fan series. *sigh*...
Is there anything you CAN'T draw? My goodness, this is great. ;w; I envy your ability to draw such detailed pictures with such good composition of characters. I fail at that. Anyway, yay, Godzilla.
Indeed. The people were actual characters (I just forgot their names and I felt it was unnecessary to add their story to the description). I tried to emulate the original poster style of the early 70's Godzilla movies with a modern twist.
I'm glad you like it. Yay Godzilla!
And yess! Yay.
I love the random people on the bottom of the redone image. Reminds me of the dikouju genre posters.
